Greek Association of Friends of Homeopathy
The Greek Association of Friends of Homeopathy was founded by people who became acquainted with homeopathy when it first appeared in Greece, people who trusted and supported homeopathy as an alternative and gentle system of healing, especially useful in our age. The fact that the founding members of the association and the majority of the members are not doctors or pharmacists neither people who have any other professional relation with homeopathy, gives the advantage selflessly and objectively handling issues concerning homeopathy. Therefore the Association is not dependant on the official organizations of the doctors who practice homeopathy in Greece, and its foundation is not connected to the syndical organizations, scientific or other representative organizations of health-related professionals.
The goals of the association are;
To inform the public about this alternative and gentle system of healing
To create the proper conditions for promoting research in homeopathic medicine
To have the best possible training for homeopathic practitioners
To create the appropriate control mechanisms for the offered services (quality of medical practice and of produced homeopathic remedies, etc).
To strengthen homeopathy with professionals who fulfill the necessary requirements as homeopathic doctors and their facilitation in practicing homeopathy.
To award those who devote their life to the science of homeopathy, both in research and practicing homeopathy.
